About Event

Join us for a two-day paper workshop where participants can create their own notebooks or albums. The program will be led by Maria and Fyodor Ovchinnikov, micro-publishers who opened their publishing house, Niavi, in Tbilisi. Their books fit in the palm of your hand, and each is a work of art, featuring diverse content ranging from the Georgian alphabet to anti-war poetry. The workshop is scheduled for August 3rd and 10th, starting at 14:00 and running for about 2 hours each day. In this workshop, participants will get to know each other and dive into the process by creating a notebook with a prepared cover. On the second day, we will focus on printing techniques, discussing various types of manual printing and experimenting with our cut forms. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in crafting their own notebooks through hands-on techniques. Space is limited!
