Join us for an exciting journey into the Middle Ages with hands-on masterclasses, lectures, and battles using soft swords (tsembara)! Participants can expect to engage in historical board games, casting jewelry based on historical examples, forging arrowheads, a cooking masterclass in medieval cuisine, weaving and dyeing fabric, and enjoying music and poetry from that era. There will also be lectures on Vikings, Byzantines, and the connections between medieval Russia and Georgia, along with demonstrations of real weapons and soft sword battles. Each day will include lectures, practice, and live history in action!
