Join us this Saturday, June 21st at 20:00 for a solidarity screening of 'Criminal Queers' by Chris Vargas and Eric Stanley (2015). This film tells the story of radical trans and queer actionists fighting to rescue their comrade from the prison industrial complex. The fictional gang of queer conspirers includes real figures such as Angela Davis, Miss Major, and CeCe McDonald. Be aware that this film contains strong themes including transphobia, homophobic slurs, sexual violence, imprisonment, deadnaming, and misgendering. This is a non-commercial event where all donations will be used to cover the rent or will be donated to humanitarian aid. A recommended donation of 20 Lari is suggested, but pay what you can—everyone is welcome! To join the event, text @dlceali2157.
