From July 7 to 11 (Monday to Friday) from 10:00 to 17:00, we will have a children's urban camp called "Animation Route". During this camp, we will focus on documentary animation and explore the city as children see it! With the team of Animathon animators, we will discuss what they like, whom they meet, where they like to go, what sounds they hear, and what they notice on the way home or to the store. All of this will become the basis for creating their own short animated films. Each participant will go through the entire process — from concept to animation: we will record sounds, collect stories, find images, and animate using the transparency effect technique. This is a technique where cut-out figures come to life on a light table. At the end of the camp, we will gather all the films for a collective screening for participants and their friends! The workshop will be led by Daria Shishova, an animation director with extensive experience working with children, including at Soyuzmultfilm, and Alexandra Kirienkova, the head of the children's animation studio in Animadomik. The camp runs from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 17:00, and we will end it with a trip to Lake Lisi (or another natural place). The cost of participation in the camp is 400 GEL if paid before June 10 and 450 GEL if paid after June 10. Meals and all materials for the classes are included in the cost. Registration and details available in direct messages.
