Join us this Sunday at edge.lab for a cozy screening of the documentary "Butoh: Piercing the Mask" at the lovely Kofevar Tbilisi. The film, built around interviews with Tatsumi Hijikata, one of the founders of contemporary Butoh, explores how this mystical dance tradition gained unexpected popularity in the West. Expect themes of sex, violence, irony, and a challenge to social norms. Admission is free, but let us know if you're coming!
